Education

American Recorder Society is a strong advocate of life-long music education.

Through our organization and its emphasis on member networking and collaboration, quality workshops and conferences, recorder informances for schools, educational programs, and  administrative and technical assistance for our affiliated groups are developed and promoted. We advance the skills of recorder players and support the development of recorder music education programs for children and adults.

The Recorder Goes to School!

ARS supports a current listing of active soloists and ensembles that work in the field of music education. ARS specifically solicits and promotes those who introduce the recorder, as well as its history and repertoire, to students of all ages.
